When Formula 1 roared into Austin, it brought with it a whirlwind of high-octane energy, celebrity sightings, and exclusive events. Among the most talked-about was the "One Party by Uber," a full-blown rodeo experience that transformed an empty field into an unforgettable night of entertainment. At the heart of this immersive event, curated by the renowned David Stark Design group, were two stunning, custom-branded pool tables from Universal Billiards. This is the story of how our team provided a seamless, turnkey solution that allowed the designers to focus on their vision, while we handled the game room essentials.
The Vision: An Authentic Pop-Up Rodeo for Uber One
Among a slew of bold visions for the party, the David Stark Design group envisioned a sophisticated rodeo-themed lounge within the Uber One event space. To bring this to life, they needed entertainment that was both high-quality and on-brand. They approached us with a unique request: two high-quality 8-foot solid wood and slate pool tables. Moreover, the billiard cloth needed to be custom-made to mimic cowhide, complete with the Uber One logo at the center.
Our sales and design team immediately got to work, collaborating closely with the event organizers. Through multiple rounds of design refinements and digital mockups, we perfected the look, ensuring the final product would seamlessly integrate into the event's aesthetic.

Our process is designed to be completely hands-free for our clients. We printed the custom cloth near our DFW headquarters and then pre-assembled the pool table frames and rail systems in our Dallas workshop. This crucial step allows us to troubleshoot any potential issues beforehand, ensuring a flawless installation on site when the timing matters most.
The morning of the event, our team drove directly from our Dallas warehouse to the Austin event site and professionally installed both tables, which became a focal point of the entertainment area. The next morning, as the dust settled on a successful rodeo, we were back to disassemble and remove the tables, leaving the venue exactly as we found it so the construction crew could dismantle the temporary event structure without delays.
